Iceland....the birthplace of Hobbits and Trolls

On the Glacier, preparing for.....

...a ride on snowmobiles

Boiling mudpots.....

...steaming rocks.....

...and blasting geysers.

Gorgeous natural pools.....

....next to jutting cliffs.

An ATV romp up to the Glacier.....

...then strap on the crampons and go for a hike.

An Icelandic Priestess "Reads our Runes"....

....they foretell of good fortune.

Dry suit diving at 35F

Yup.....we survived.

You can never hike....

....to too many....

....waterfalls !!!

You need the "right" car....

....to see the icebergs heading out to sea.

I'm more a flogger than a golfer....

....but even I can enjoy this.

Kayaking the Fjords....

....before stopping for lunch.

Let's have a pop at this historic bar....

...then dine at a farmhouse that smokes lamb, cures trout, ages cheese and bakes bread.

Speaks for itself.

You just cannot make this up.

They have it all.

Seriously.....do NOT call them "Ponies".

The 13 Trolls are NOT related to the Seven Dwarfs.

Finally, a soak in the Blue Lagoon before heading home.
